With the recent news that Warner Brothers has made the move to support Blu-ray, releasing high definition movies exclusively on the Sony format, HD-DVD is definitely losing the war.
Rumor now has it that Circuit City wants to rid all of its HD-DVD player inventory by marking all of its Toshiba HD-DVD players as clearance items. A so-called Circuit City employee made a forum post saying that the store is selling the Toshiba HD-A3 for a mere $100.04 and the HD-A30 for $149.99.
Sad news for the HD-DVD soldiers…
