This makes an awesome office “toy”, sort of speak. It’s one of those great little ornaments to have on your desk that’ll cause your office mates to buzz.
It’s essentially a post-it notes holder. It looks like toasted bread and your post-it notes adds the butter look. Clever indeed. The good news is, it only costs $7.50 at shopFosters.
Zippo, famous for their lighters (as we all know), have now come out with a hand warmer for these cold winter days. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket and lasts up to 24 hours. You simply fill it with lighter fluid, ignite it, and put it inside its heating bag. It only requires 0.4 ounces of lighter fluid to provide 24 hours of hand warmth.
A guy takes his Honda Goldwing motorcycle and modifies it to sound and look like a jet. I believe the modifications do not add performance, it just poses as a jet. The bike is supposedly street legal and is registered as a motorcycle.
From the sexy minds over at Chocolate Agency, comes another concept, called P-Per, that would rival the current hotness: the iPhone. Featuring a 7mm thick body, recycled titanium casing, and a flexible LCD display, Apple is lucky this thing is only a concept. The design also purports to have picture and video taking/playback capabilities and a 2 minute recharge time.
Did I mention it would also cost an arm and a leg?
Ah, the crazy Japanese. Who better to teach the little Japanese children? Why, a robot of course!
Using a 35 cm tall robot dressed in a Kimono, the robot teaches children how to dance as part of an educational program. I guess the Japanese dance standing still? It looks like Yoga to me.
I don’t know if they’re smart or just plain lazy. You decide.
Called Super Mario Fusion, some hardcore fans took the classic Super Mario and added covenant enemies from Halo. Complete with the plasma rifle and pistol, frag grenades, and assault rifle, the guys were able to implement new animations (new enemies) and backgrounds to fit the new theme.
Previously called the R680, the ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 is the first GPU to break the 1 teraflop barrier. Featuring dual ATI Radeon HD 3870 GPUs, this puppy will cost you $450.
PC Perspective’s got the lowdown on the card and some benchmark tests. It appears the card mostly outperforms the other GPU’s in its market, but was comparable to NVIDIA’s 8800 Ultra during the Crysis test. It’ll be interesting to see what updated drivers will do.
Rumored to hit the streets later in 2008, the NEC Flask is a cellphone that is powered by a liquid fuel cell, which drains as you use the phone. Thanks to it’s semi-transparent casing, you’d be able to tell how much battery life the phone has by simply checking how much liquid is left. The phone also features a touchscreen.
No details on pricing or exact release date at this time. Even if it were to hit the streets, I doubt it’ll make it stateside.
