Previously called the R680, the ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 is the first GPU to break the 1 teraflop barrier. Featuring dual ATI Radeon HD 3870 GPUs, this puppy will cost you $450.

PC Perspective’s got the lowdown on the card and some benchmark tests. It appears the card mostly outperforms the other GPU’s in its market, but was comparable to NVIDIA’s 8800 Ultra during the Crysis test. It’ll be interesting to see what updated drivers will do.
