Everyone loves to hit the snooze button in the morning. If you’re like me, you set your alarm clock a little bit early so you can smack the snooze button a couple times before finally getting up. However, the Carpet Alarm Clock aims to solve your snoozing syndrome by forcing you to get up to turn it off. That’s right, this thing forces you to get out of bed to turn it off by stepping on it. Genius! It’s also got an LCD to display the time.
The Carpet Alarm Clock was designed by Sofie Collin and Gustav Lanberg. One more pic after the jump.
Digital picture frames are nothing entirely new. Neither are digital frames with speakers. What makes this digital photo frame different from the rest is that the Mustek PF-A950PS sports NXT flat-panel speakers. No cheap mono speakers here. The NXT speakers provide rich audio to go with your images. The frame supports MP3 files for audio, AVI, MJPEG, and XVID for video, and JPEG for photos.
Do you own a big and fancy house? Well, your house is nothing without one of these. This Glass Fireplace by Bloch-Design features an opening to allow the heat to disperse, while the flames remain safely contained within the glass. The fireplace comes in two designs with two options: a rectangular or pyramid shape with tinted or clear glass.
It’s so simple, yet elegant…more pics after the jump.
Aquavision, known for making water-proof LCDs, has upped the ante with its new 57-inch LCD, the AVF 57-4LCD. It sports full HD resolution (1080p, 1920×1080), analog and digital tuners, 2 HDMI ports, 1 component video, 1 S-video, VGA input, and a water-proof remote control, just in case you drop it in the tub.
If the water-proofing isn’t cool enough for you, the television also doubles as a mirror when turned off. How cool is that?
Wish you can connect your iPod to a set of speakers without having a mess of wires running around your home?
Now you can with the Velocity Premium Wireless Wireless Speakers. Using a 900 MHz transmitter, it provides a range of 150 feet. It comes with a remote control, wireless transmitter base/receiver, AC adapter, wall mounts, and of course the required cables.
The speakers apparently are able to maintain a solid connection with no dropping of sound. On Speakers has the full review.
The whole setup will run you about $111.25 USD at ANTOnline.
Nyko, known for making third-party accessories for gaming consoles, has released a wireless attachment for the Nintendo Wii’s Nunchuck. Simply attach the wireless transmitter to the bottom of the Wii-mote and connect the receiver to the Nunchuck and voila! You can now fling the Nunchuck at your TV.
Called the Cord-Free, it is powered by 2 AA batteries and gives you a range of 15 feet. For $20, I suppose that isn’t too bad of a deal, if you don’t mind the added bulk to the Nunchuck.
