The BodyGard is a swiss-army knife of useful emergency tools: automatic glass breaker, a safety-blade seat belt cutter, powerful sonic alarm, high intensity high/low beam white LED flashlight, a digital tire gauge, a thermometer, and a flashing red distress light for signaling help. It even comes with batteries included.
Check out the Wii Drum Kit from This is Not a Label. The latest version supports the Nunchuck to allow two handed drumming. The source code is available for free, so feel free to contribute.
Depending on the gesture used (and the button held), different drum sounds are played. Four drums are available: high hat, crash cymbal, snare, and kick drum. The video demonstration explains it all.
Berg Toys decided to make a Ferrari that is a little more affordable. Sure it doesn’t have a monster V12 motor (or any motor for that matter) and sure it’s powered by your legs…but it’s a Ferrari! Okay okay, it is a “toy”, but a quite expensive one. The Ferrari FFX Pedal Car comes standard with a seven-speed transmission, an on-board computer, disc brakes, and semi-slick racing tires. Yeah, that’s right, an on-board computer. For the folks with fat wallets, you can upgrade the FFX to have a premium racing bucket seat with a four-point harness, leather wrapped steering wheel, and an aero kit.
Designed for Bluetooth enabled phones, the Sony Ericsson MBS-100 Bluetooth Speakers allows you to listen to music on the go. Though, I’m not sure who would carry two ball speakers around? Might as well just use headphones, right? Although the speakers do look great. I wonder if they work with a Bluetooth equipped PC? They sure would look nice on my desk.
However, thankfully, Sony has blessed the MBS-100 with a 3.5mm audio jack, so it should work with any MP3 player or audio device.
The speakers have a 10 meter range and is available now via online retailers for about $70 USD.
Its primary purpose is to serve as an HSDPA USB modem, but Toshiba put one extra trick up the G450’s sleeve. It also doubles as a tri-band GSM cellphone. You can also receive SMS messages on its tiny 96×36 pixel OLED display. It also comes with 160 MB of on board memory.
Is it just me, or does the two-part keypad look horrible to use?
The G450 will come in white, red, and black for 199 Euro (or $290 USD) in around March.
