Sony Bravia M1 series TVs

Sony has announced its newest M1 series LCD TVs: the 16-inch KDL16M1 and 20-inch KDL20M1. Both models feature 720p (1366×768 pixel) resolution, but the smaller version has a contrast ratio of 1,800:1 ratio while the larger version sports a 1,200:1 contrast ratio. Both are powered by Sony’s new Bravia Engine 2 image processor and have a 178 degree viewing angle. Input-wise, the Sony’s M1 series has 2x 1080p-compatible HDMI ports, component, composite, s-video and PC VGA input, and Ethernet.

The M1′s will hit stores in Japan on March 25 for 90,000 Yen ($834) for the KDL16M1 and 100,000 Yen ($926) for the KDL20M1. They’ll be available in silver, black, pink, blue, green and orange.
