Have you ever gone out to lunch only to end up staining your shirt? You can’t go home and change because you have to get back to work. What do you do?
Introducing the Puke Pets. These little pins, which looks like some sort of critter, helps disguise your shirt stain by making it look like that ketchup stain was meant to be there. Basically, it looks like the Pet vomited on your shirt. No one will ever know and you’ll have an instant designer shirt.
The Puke Pets come in a variety of colors and cost £2.99 (about $6 USD) via Lazybone. You can get a triple pack for £5.99 ($12 USD).
On an unrelated note: What is that chick eating? A hotdog in a hamburger bun? WTF?!?

The Floating Ideas looks like a desk lamp, but it isn’t. It uses, what I would assume, magnets to levitate other ‘magnetic’ items. The Floating Ideas comes in two parts: the base unit and an ‘interchangeable display piece’ - your choice of a picture frame, globe, cars, planes, and/or a space shuttle, to name a few.
The base unit costs $99.95 and does not include a display piece. An interchangeable display piece will cost up to $24.95 depending on the item. For example, a picture frame will cost an additional $24.95, while a PT Cruiser car will cost $21.95. The Floating Ideas base unit comes in silver, black, blue, and white.

From Etsy seller, Beatboxtaun, is a Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out themed scarf. Measuring 72 inches in length, it even seems to replicate the 8-bit graphics. Unfortunately, the scarf costs $175 USD and has been sold. I’m glad someone was willing to fork over $175 for a scarf.
Beatboxtaun has another scarf for sale — a Mario (shrooms and stars) theme for $75.

With HD-DVD resting in peace, you can now safely buy a Blu-ray player. In fact, Sony has unveiled its newest addition to its line of Blu-ray players: the BDP-S350 and BDP-S550. Both players support Bonus View (picture-in-picture), BD-Live content, Ethernet port, 1080p standard DVD upscaling, and USB for additional storage expansion. Audio-wise, both players support 7.1-channel Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. That’s where the similarities end.
The S350 does not include built-in storage, so you’ll need to add your own (hence, why it includes USB support). The S550, on the other hand, includes 1GB of storage for BD-live. Both will need a firmware update to add the BD-Live functionality. The S550 also supports DTS-HD Master Audio decoding and 7.1 channel analog audio output.
Price is $400 and $500 USD for the BDP-350 and BDP-S550 respectively. The S350 is expected to be available around Summer, while the S550 around Fall 2008.
For those wondering, BD-Live allows a Blu-ray disc to access the Internet for additional content, e.g., new movie trailers and actor/actress info.
