The Floating Ideas looks like a desk lamp, but it isn’t. It uses, what I would assume, magnets to levitate other ‘magnetic’ items. The Floating Ideas comes in two parts: the base unit and an ‘interchangeable display piece’ – your choice of a picture frame, globe, cars, planes, and/or a space shuttle, to name a few.

The base unit costs $99.95 and does not include a display piece. An interchangeable display piece will cost up to $24.95 depending on the item. For example, a picture frame will cost an additional $24.95, while a PT Cruiser car will cost $21.95. The Floating Ideas base unit comes in silver, black, blue, and white.
