Sony is still in the MP3 player fight with its Walkman line of audio players. Sony is adding to its audio army – the Walkman NWZ-A820 series. It sports:

* Bluetooth stereo
* 2.4-inch QVGA display
* Audio playback: AAC, Linear PCM, MP3, WMA
* Video playback: AVC and MPEG-4 (30 fps)
* JPEG picture viewer
* Playback time of 7 hours video and 15 hours music playback (with Bluetooth enabled)
* Bluetooth headphones
* Sadly, no FM tuner

The new Sony Walkman players will come in 16GB (NWZ-A829), 8GB (NWZ-A828), and 4GB (NWZ-A826). The 4GB and 8GB will include Sony’s Bluetooth headphones (Sony DR-BT21G). Sony plans to release the 8GB and 16GB versions in the U.S. for $270 and $320 respectively.

If you aren’t interested in Bluetooth connectivity, Sony is making another version available, the NWZ-A720 series. The Bluetooth-less player will feature the same specs and storage space as the A820 series. Price is set at $150, $200, and $300 for the 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB respectively.

The new Sony players should hit U.S. stores by end of March 2008 and at Sony Style. They will also arrive in Europe in April.
