Pulseline: heart beat shelf

pulseline.jpg

I don’t know how useful the Pulseline shelf would be, especially on the sharp angled surface. I mean, on the flat surface, you could store books and other small miscellaneous items. But what about towards the middle of the shelf? Vinyls? Thin magazines? Nonetheless, at the very least, it should make for a nice wall art.

Designed by Måns Salomonsen. The Pulseline is fluorescent, so it should look pretty cool in the dark.

Who cares how many books you can store on this shelf? This thing is art! It’s awesome! If I had some free space I would (try to) build it myself. :-)
I wonder how it’s done. Metal welded together? I don’t really see any other possibility.
