Update (3/21/08): The Suzuki Kizashi 3 concept has been unveiled. Read here.

Every time I think of Suzuki, I think motorcycles. That’s what they’re known for. If you ask me about Suzuki cars, I think about their ugly and boring ass SUVs and eco-boxes. Let’s face it, Suzuki hasn’t designed one single sexy looking car. Thankfully, there’s hope with their Kizashi 3 concept that should debut at the New York Motor Show on March 21.

Suzuki’s Kizashi “concept” is a teaser of what Suzuki has in store for their upcoming line-up. The Kizashi 1 was a rather funky looking station wagon. The Kizashi 2 was a SUV. Finally, the Kizashi 3 is what you see above, a sport sedan. Rumor has it that the upcoming sedan will feature a V8 and all-wheel drive.

suzuki cars are not boring. mind u.maruti suzuki is known to manufacture and sell not only the maximum but also best quality hatchbacks in the world. its recent debut in sedans with models like DZIRE and SX4 are not at all bad. they are as good as those middle class sedans of HYUNDAI,HONDA,FORD,FIAT or MITSUBISHI selling in the east

They sure look boring. The cars you mention compete with cars similar to Honda Fit, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Soul, and other uninteresting cars. Suzuki doesn’t make exciting cars like they do their motorcycles.

As soon as they start making cars in the same segment as the Nissan 370Z, Honda S2000, Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru STI, etc, then I’ll start paying attention.
