Samsung has upgraded its existing “MiniSkirt” line of phones with the “MiniSkirt 2” – going by the model name: SCH-C225/SPH-C2005/SPH-C2255. I don’t know what the fascination is with Asian companies and weird product names, but the phone is your typical modern mobile. The MiniSkirt 2 has “Smile Shot”, a smile-recognition function that takes pictures when the subject is smiling. In addition, it is also equipped with a touch-sensitive vibrating keypad, for a more tactile feel.

For the most part is shares the same features as the previous model:

* 2.2-inch display
* Slide design with 10.9mm thickness
* 2 megapixel camera
* microSD slot
* audio and video media player
* Bluetooth
* dictionary

I’d expect 3 hours of talk time and 120 hours standby as far as battery life is concerned (just like the original “MiniSkirt” model). Price is expected to be around 400,000 and 500,000 KRW ($400 – $500 USD).

More pics of the MiniSkirt 2 phone after the jump.
