Boing Boing’s Xeni gives us a look at just how easy it is for a hacker like Pablos Holman, to steal the information off of RFID-enabled credit cards. The equipment necessary? A laptop and an $8 RFID card reader bought from eBay. Holman is able to get the cardholder’s name, credit card number, and expiration date by waving his card reader at their ass. To circumvent his method, Holman suggests using a metal wallet.
