Pixel Pour

Taking reality and mixing a little bit of ‘electronic pixels’, the Pixel Pour is found in New York City’s Lower East Side. The creator is unknown, but is a rather clever piece of artwork that utilizes a street pipe to create a “wonderful instance of hybrid” reality.

Probably the best pixel street art I’ve seen.

Plush Nintendo Entertainment System

Made from hand dried felt, Crafster member blueblythe is the mastermind behind the ‘plush’ NES. Taking two weeks to complete, the Plush NES comes included with a game controller and light gun. It also includes two game cartridges: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Duck Hunt. Humorously, the game screen is interchangeable to reflect both games. Simply remove the “game screen” and affix the appropriate screen for the game you are “playing”. Even the controller and light gun are “pluggable”.

More photos after the jump.
