Don’t you just hate it when you accidentally drop your shiny new cell phone? All the dents and scratches on your expensive new gadget. Yikes! Well, you wouldn’t have to worry about that if you buy the Samsung B2700 cell phone. Sure the thing is ugly as sin, but hey, at least you can chuck it at your wall with no reservations. Video after the jump.

The Samsung B2700 sports an anti-shock urethane case to absorb vibrations and impacts. It also meets IP54 specifications to protect itself from the outside elements, like dust and moisture. Since the B2700 is a cell phone, it supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and UMTS 2100MHz (3G) connectivity and features a 1.9-inch 256K-color TFT (176 x 220 pixels) display, 2 megapixel camera with video record/playback capability, Bluetooth, FM radio, music player (MP3, e-AAC+, WMA, AMR, and SMA audio files), 15MB of internal memory, and a microSD slot for expansion. Stand-by time is rated at up to 350 hours, while talk time is at an estimated 5 hours. Samsung is gearing the B2700 for the outdoor adventurer and enthusiasts, and has therefore incorporated a built-in altimeter, compass, pedometer, and torch light.

The Samsung B2700 measures 115 x 52 x 18 mm and weighs 114 grams. It will be available soon in Germany, UK, and the Netherlands for a rumored 150 EUR ($211 USD). GSMArena got their hands on the B2700 and seemed to be impressed with Samsung for not skimping out on the features. You don’t see ‘rugged’ and ‘tough’ cell phones with features like the B2700 has. So, feel free to throw and drop!
