The French aren’t messing around. The Voxan Wattman can go 0-100 kph (or 0 – 60 mph) in 3.4 seconds and 0-160 kph (which is about 0 – 100 mph) in just 5.9 seconds! That’s only possible because the motorcycle is blessed with Voxan’s first electric motor pumping 200 horsepower and 150 foot-pounds of torque — with a rev limiter of 10,500 rpm. The futuristic looking motorcycle is equipped with a 12.8kWh lithium ion battery, which gives it a range of 180 km (about 112 miles). The best part is that it only takes 30 minutes to charge the Wattman. Video and photo gallery after the break.
The Voxan Wattman weighs 350 kg (772 lbs) and comes with 18-inch carbon wheels, a 43mm inverted fork front suspension, a parallelogram-shaped four-link rear suspension (two dual oscillating arms), 4-230mm front discs brakes up front (4 piston calipers) and a single two piston 230 mm rear disc brake. The Wattman’s “exoskeleton” chassis houses all of the high performance and tech wizardry, giving the bike its overall sleek and sexy look.
The Voxan Wattman comes in 11 different “French colors”: Bleu-Noir (Blue/Black), Gris-Alu (Gray/Aluminum), Gris-Cuivre (Gray/Copper), Gris-Noir (Gray/Black), Marron-Titane (Brown-Titanium), Noir-Cuivre (Black-Copper), Noir-Noir (Black), Orange-Cuivre (Orange-Copper), Rouge-Alu (Red-Aluminum), Rouge-Noir (Red-Black), and Vert-Alu (Green-Aluminum). Pricing and availability has yet to be disclosed, but something tells me it’ll be available at least in France.
