Watch NASA’s Morpheus successfully land

This isn’t the first time NASA’s Morpheus attempted such a feat. The last time Morpheus attempted a landing untethered resulted in a fiery crash and explosion. Project Morpheus was designed as a vertical test bed (VTB) platform for NASA to test all of its latest high-tech space gadgets. To be honest, this thing isn’t as impressive as SpaceX’s Grasshopper demonstrations. But, it’s still a cool video to watch nonetheless. The test launch took place at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If you want to see the original untethered attempt by Morpheus, keep on reading.
