This is probably the best video game related movie I’ve seen. Created by Joey Ansah, Street Fighter: Legacy is a live-action film that has Ryu (my favorite) and Ken battling it out. Although, it is a short film, it’s pretty damn cool!

‘Street Fighter: Legacy’ – Short Film

Using 50 bags of Cheetos (White Cheddar, Cheese, and Flamin’ Hot), an artist (Eclectic Asylum Art) creates a portrait of Conan O’Brien – former host of the Tonight Show. The entire art piece consists of nearly 2,000 pieces of delicious cheesiness. Not much else to say except to watch the video. And for the record, I’m With COCO.

It turns out that everything is held in place using a bit of glue and varnish, so there will be no eating Conan O’Brien afterward.

Cheetos Art: Conan O’Brien

What do you get when you mash-up the Billboard’s top 25 hits of 2009? Titled the United State of Pop 2009, the mash-up was done by DJ Earworm and features songs ranging from Beyonce to T.I.. Unfortunately, I’ve never heard of the guy, but apparently mash-ups are his thing. But that doesn’t matter…can’t wait for 2010!

Top 25 Hits of 2009: Mash-Up

Sony Playstation Japanese Bento

I know this isn’t tech or gadget related, but this one caught my eye for its creativity. Designed by Michiel Schuurman and Berber Soepboer are the “Color-In” and “Assembly” Dress. The Color-In Dress is a dress featuring a black and white pattern fabric that allows you to use colored markers to ‘paint’ the dress. It’s like a coloring book that you can wear. The Assembly-Dress, on the other hand, is a set of three dresses that can be taken apart or combined using a button system. You can literally mix-and-match different parts of each dress to form your desired outfit. Pictures after the jump.

Industrial designer, Naoto Fukasawa, probably thinks that your ordinary fruit juice is boring. So, he aims to change that by designing a whole new look and feel to fruit juice boxes. His creative idea is to create a packaging that imitates the look and feel of the actual fruit you are drinking. In this case, a furry brown carton for kiwi juice, a seedy red box for strawberry juice, and a rubbery yellow box for banana juice. Still don’t get it? Check out the pictures after the break.

Fruit juice boxes with realistic feeling packaging

25 year old, Justin Gignac, is a genius. His idea? Walk the streets of New York City, collect the widely available (free) trash littering the streets, repackage the garbage in plastic cubes, and sell them online for $50 each. The funniest part is that people are actually buying them. Yup, Justin has actually already sold over 700 cubes in over 41 states and 19 countries. Genius!

You can get your piece of smelly New York City by forking over your $50 or $100 over at NYCGarbage. Not sure why anyone would buy one, but I guess it wouldl look good on the mantle or something. Just don’t break open the cube…

NYC Garbage Cube: $50 worth of trash

If it weren’t for all of the black speckles, you’d probably think the Xbox 360 controller above was the real deal. Complete with raised “buttons” (including the shoulder buttons) and the headset jack, the Xbox 360 Controller Soap from Esty seller Digitalsoaps has pretty much created an exact replica of the 360 controller, minus the functional buttons and movable/clickable analog sticks. The level of detail is amazing, it even has the four “little dots” on the right stick! Ingredient-wise, the soap contains a handful of oils (coconut, palm, castor, safflower), sarbitol (a moisturizer), soy bean protein (conditioner), and fragrance — in this case, Mountain Dew oil.

Mmmm…Mountain Dew…

The raised “buttons” on the soap supposedly acts like a massager. Digitalsoaps is selling the Xbox 360 Controller Soap for $12 each. Interestingly, the entire soap weighs 7 ounces — that’s almost half a pound, kids!

If the Xbox 360 isn’t your thing, fortunately for you, Digitalsoaps has other video game-themed soaps for your purchasing pleasure, like the retro NES Cocoa Butter Soap and the SNES Controller Soap for $9 each.

Lots of people make assumptions, but I’m normal and I also don’t take myself (or music for that matter) too seriously. Some also assume I went to school for music but I actually went for a tech-related degree (networking, security). Musically speaking, I am completely self-taught but it was a slow process – I don’t think I was “born to play” or anything but stuck with it. My actual training consists of a few piano lessons (I was a terrible piano student quickly went back to just playing) and one year of marching band during my senior year of high-school.

Ronald Jenkees – Nerd Jam

Using what some may call trash, one’s garbage has been transformed into pieces of creative art — all using a subway station’s escalator and a bicycle wheel. Called the Subway Machine, the sculpture uses the escalator’s moving handrail to rotate a bike tire. The tire then causes a series of gears to also rotate, effectively powering the actual sculpture. It’s sorta like a Rube Goldberg machine.

Other sculptures were also created and scattered thoughout the subway station. Interestingly, the escalator isn’t the only piece of subway equipment utilized to power the arts — think elevator and the subway’s ticket gates. Video after the break.

Street Fighter: “Are You Ken?”

Only in Japan will you see street theater like this. Call them crazy, but the odd scene is actually a promotional stunt for Toyota’s latest super-compact car, the iQ. Using a building’s vertical side wall as a stage, the actors gleefully walk and dance along the side of the building (attached to a safety harness of course) with their umbrellas, all while the Toyota iQ remains parked. I don’t quite understand the advertisement, and unfortunately, the Toyota iQ can’t drive up a wall. Photo gallery of the car after the break…

The Toyota iQ reportedly yields 57 MPG thanks to its tiny 998 cc 3 cylinder, 67 bhp engine, capable of 0-62 mph in 14.1 seconds. The iQ already hit Toyota dealers’ show rooms in Japan in October 2008. A a European launch is expected to happen in January 2009 for a starting MSRP of £9,495 (roughly $14,200 USD). Gasoline and diesel engines will be available. Unfortunately, Toyota has no plans for a U.S. release.

The Toyota iQ: can drive up a wall?

Perfect for the old-school gamers, these Nintendo Wall Graphics will bring a touch of 80′s video game nostalgia to any room decor. Three graphics are available: Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and New Super Mario Bros. The graphics are made from vinyl and are actually removable/restickable in case your girlfriend thinks you’re an idiot for hanging a fat plumber and an Ape on your wall.

It should be noted that these are not wallpapers. They are actually decals that you stick onto your wall, so ultimately, the final design is up to you. Nintendo Wall Graphics: geek out your room
