Here’s another reason for never having to leave your computer desk. The Keyboard Napkin prevents you from having to exert the effort of getting up from your laptop and having to wash your hands after eating. The rather simple “device” lets you eat while you type, saving you from having to clean up crumbs in between the cracks of your keyboard.

It has been rumored for over a year that Microsoft has plans to create a portable handheld gaming system to rival the likes of Nintendo’s DS and Sony’s PSP. Unfortunately, Microsoft is keeping a tight lid on the truth. However, the artists over at T3 Magazine couldn’t resist with their speculation on what such a device would look like from Microsoft. So, they decided to take matters into their own hands. T3 has published their rendition of the possible mobile device, combining a Zune, Xbox 360, and phone into one sleek package. In fact, the hybrid device looks pretty damn good. Although, what’s up with the flat-looking analog sticks? Regardless, the concept calls for 64GB of Flash storage — GTA IV on-the-go anyone?

Sometimes you just need to brush your teeth when you’re not at home, like say coming back to work from lunch. The problem is that most people don’t bring their toothbrushes outside their homes. Designer Yuanyan Li may have just come up with a solution. Called the Any Brush, it is essentially a disposable, slip-on toothbrush for your finger. Simply slide it onto your finger and brush away! The Any Brush comes in a very compact package that makes it extremely portable and even features a compartment to hold toothpaste. The best part is that the entire product is environmentally safe when discarded.

From designer Tamer Koseli, comes the longest cell phone concept, called “Need”. However, I beg to differ. The phone doesn’t really look long (see image above), in fact, it actually looks like a stretched out skinny iPhone (notice the bottom ‘Home” button and the slit ear-piece). Unfortunately, the design doesn’t call for an MP3 player, video capabilities, or a camera, but it does have two screens: an OLED and touchscreen. It also looks like the touchscreen can be used with a stylus, which I though were extinct.

Honda has been doing some research since 1999 in search of technology to help those with weakened leg muscles to enjoy the freedom of mobility. Using technology from their research and development of their ASIMO robot, Honda has developed a walking assist device that straps on to a user’s leg. By using motors and a control system designed by Honda, the device assists the user in walking, providing that extra “muscle” power.

Who knows what the next iPod product Apple plans on releasing? Designer Peter Hwang has come up with an idea. Called the iPod “Capsule”, it looks like a very worthy replacement to the Shuffle. The concept looks like a medicine pill, sporting a two-tone (pink and silver) color scheme; except, you don’t swallow these. The iPod Capsule concept features the same “Home” button that is found on the iPhone and iPod Touch.
However, Hwang didn’t stop there. He even brewed up his own iPod Capsule docking station that is equipped with speakers and is capable of charging and syncing the MP3 player.

Too bad this isn’t reality.
One more pic after the jump.

Found on hien_k45c’s flicker page, the conceptual design gives us an idea of what an Apple iPhone Nano may look like, should the Cupertino company ever decide to unleash one. The concept maintains the “Home” button found on the current iPhone and iPod Touch. In fact, it looks like an iPhone/Touch collided with an iPod Nano — it has that stumpy look. Landscape and portrait orientations are proposed by the concept.
I don’t know about you, but I’m kinda digging the ‘fatty Nano’ design.

The Faucet Buddy concept is an excellent and elegant design idea that allows you to check on how much water your household has wasted consumed. Utilizing an LCD screen attached just before the spout end, it displays the total gallon usage and the temperature of the water, so you’ll never have to touch scolding hot water ever again.
The Faucet Buddy is designed by Baek Uyeol.
