Motorcycle Chopstick Painting

makoto endo motorcycle chopstick painting

Who needs a paintbrush when you can use chopsticks? That’s exactly how Japanese artist Makoto Endo feels. Instead of using a paintbrush, his weapon of choice is a chopstick. Heck, he doesn’t even need shoes! But, all that aside, his work is amazing. His masterful skill of applying paint splatter and blotches makes the bike look like it’s wet and rolling in the rain — even though the reference bike is stationary and nice in dry inside the studio. It’s awesome. Watch him in action after the break.

Steve Sammartino and Raul Oaida are the two wizards behind this beauty — a real life-size LEGO car that runs entirely on air. Holy Batman! Check out the Batman Tumbler iPhone case! Compatible with the Apple iPhone 5 and 5s, the Tumbler case will make any Dark Knight fan happy. The case also has an extendable left wheel to reveal the camera, so it won’t get in the way in the event you’d like to take a picture with the case on.

Nissan Nismo Concept Smartwatch

nissan nismo smartwatch

For those of you with Nissan GT-Rs, here’s a watch that’s looking at you. Despite being only a concept for the time being, the Nissan Nismo Smartwatch is one damn-fine looking watch. Its purpose is to keep you “connected” to your car via low-energy Bluetooth, which sounds ridiculous, but I know gearheads love this stuff. The Nissan Nismo Smartwatch allows drivers to view their average speed, fuel consumption, telematics and performance data while on the track, and be alerted of hazardous road conditions — all in real-time. The smartwatch also features a heart rate monitor, so you’ll know when to calm down going 100+ mph. Oh yeah, it will also tell time.

Voxan Wattman – 200 horsepower electric motorcycle

voxan wattman

The French aren’t messing around. The Voxan Wattman can go 0-100 kph (or 0 – 60 mph) in 3.4 seconds and 0-160 kph (which is about 0 – 100 mph) in just 5.9 seconds! That’s only possible because the motorcycle is blessed with Voxan’s first electric motor pumping 200 horsepower and 150 foot-pounds of torque — with a rev limiter of 10,500 rpm. The futuristic looking motorcycle is equipped with a 12.8kWh lithium ion battery, which gives it a range of 180 km (about 112 miles). The best part is that it only takes 30 minutes to charge the Wattman. Video and photo gallery after the break.
